"Even if you're not a habitual X-Files rewatcher, you might want to celebrate the 25th birthday of the franchise in style this year, and in that case BBC America has you covered. The network — the American home of Doctor Who that's also known for frequent reruns of classics like Star Trek — announced Tuesday that it will celebrate a quarter century of The X-Fileswith a five-day marathon of the show's classic first nine seasons and both feature films: The X-Files (1998) and The X-Files: I Want to Believe (2008).
The marathon will kick off at 6 a.m. EST on Monday, Sept. 10, and continue throughout the week, finally wrapping up on Friday, Sept. 14."
